Creating and Managing Classes

Classes bring together students, teachers, and subjects for a given academic year.

Creating a Class

  1. Go to Admin Portal > Classes
  2. Click New Class
  3. Enter the class name (e.g. "JHS 1A"), select the year group and academic year
  4. Assign a primary class teacher (optional -- this is the form/home room teacher)
  5. Save the class

Enrolling Students

Open the class and navigate to the Students tab. Search for and add students to the class roster.

Adding Subject Teachers

Navigate to the Subjects tab of the class. For each subject taught in this class, assign the teacher responsible for it. This is how SA3 knows which teacher can enter scores for which subject.
