Getting Started
SA3 is one system with two distinct interfaces, reached through the same login page. Your role determines what you see after you sign in.
The Two Portals
Admin Portal
URL: /admin
This is the back office of the school. It is reserved exclusively for system administrators. Here, the school's entire academic structure is configured: the grading systems, academic years, class timetables, staff accounts, student records, and the rules that govern how reports are calculated.
Most administrators will spend time here at the start of each academic year setting things up, and return periodically to manage enrolments, create assessments, and generate report cards.
Staff Portal
URL: /app
This is where the day-to-day work happens. Teachers, heads of department, vice-principals, and principals all use this portal. It shows each person exactly what is relevant to them -- a teacher sees their own classes; a principal sees the whole school.
From this portal, staff enter scores, write remarks, and view finalized report cards.
Logging In
All staff log in at the same login page using their email address and password. SA3 uses the same credentials for both portals; your role determines what appears after you sign in.
If you have the Admin role, you will see the Admin Portal. All other staff roles land on the Staff Portal dashboard.
